Use the Critical Thinking Lesson Plan Template to create a standards-focused critical thinking lesson plan which incorporates:
Student use of technology tool(s) to enhance or promote students’ critical thinking skills
Quality questioning and critical thinking instructional strategies
Design a summative performance assessment for the lesson that includes the following:
Student directions for each part of the assessment written in complete sentences and starting with a verb (e.g., “Describe the…,” “Explain the…”)
Brief explanation of how the assessment measures content mastery and use of critical thinking skills
Use the Critical Thinking Assessment Rubric Template to create a summative assessment rubric which does the following:
Aligns to the summative assessment’s directions
Includes criteria for measuring content mastery
Includes criteria for measuring critical thinking skills
