Write a 1-2 paragraph post that answers the following prompt:
Briefly explain your research question, variables, and hypotheses. Incorporate any revisions you’ve made based on feedback throughout this course.
Describe your research design (e.g., experimental, quasi-experimental, or correlational) and explain the suitability of that choice for your research question.
Briefly explain how you plan to measure your variable that can be measured (as opposed to merely observed): For instance, what is your instrument? (Note, for the purposes of this Discussion, if you have two such variables– that is, both your IV and DV OR both your co-variables– you need only do this for one such variable.)
Explain which statistical analysis (i.e., correlation, independent-samples t-test, paired samples t-test, ANOVA, repeated measures ANOVA, or simple logistic regression) you plan to use and provide justification for why this analysis is appropriate for your research and will test your hypothesis.
Summarize what types of results you would expect to find from this study, if you were to conduct it (remember, you will NOT actually be conducting the study).
Support your ideas with at least one in-text and corresponding reference citation. You may use the textbook or another scholarly source.
